Booking and payment

How do I book Villa Giulietta?

Send us your dates through the enquiry form and we will reply with an offer. Booked directly with us, the villa costs less than on Airbnb or Booking.com. You can also book it on Airbnb or Booking.com.

How quickly do you reply?

Usually within an hour. Write to us through the contact page, email hello@villagiulietta.com or call +49 173 2712771.

Which languages do you speak?

German, English, Spanish, Italian and Romanian. Write to us in whichever suits you best.

Is there a minimum stay?

It depends on the season. We agree the minimum stay with you when you enquire. All booking conditions are on the rates page.

What is included in the price?

Bed linen, towels, pool towels, Wi-Fi and parking.

Is there a tourist tax?

Yes. Castellammare del Golfo, the municipality Scopello belongs to, charges €1.50 per person per night, for no more than six nights in a row. Children up to 12 and guests over 75 are exempt. The local tourist tax is charged on top of the rental price.

Is there a security deposit?

Yes. We tell you the amount with our offer.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel at least 30 days before arrival, we refund 50% of the rental price for the whole stay. After that there is no refund. Bookings on Airbnb or Booking.com follow the cancellation terms shown there when you book. Details are in our booking terms.

Getting here

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 1 pm to 8 pm, check-out by 11 am. Please tell us your approximate arrival time in advance.

Which airport is closest?

Trapani (Birgi), about 46 km by road. Palermo (Falcone-Borsellino) is about 58 km away. From either airport the drive takes a little over an hour without traffic.

Do I need a hire car?

Yes, we recommend one. The villa is in the countryside, and Scopello, the beaches and the shops of Castellammare del Golfo are 2 to 8 km away. Both airports have car hire desks in the arrivals hall.

Is there parking at the villa?

Yes, free parking on the property for several cars, including an open carport. There is no need to reserve a space.

The house

How many guests can stay, and what are the beds like?

Up to six guests. Each of the three bedrooms has its own bathroom, and there is a fourth bathroom on the ground floor with a shower and washbasin. The bedrooms have three double beds, one of them extra-large. There are no extra beds.

Is the pool heated?

Yes. The private pool is heated and can be used all year round. Sun loungers, parasols and pool towels are provided.

Is there air conditioning?

Yes, the villa has air conditioning, and heating for the cooler months.

Is there Wi-Fi, and somewhere to work?

Yes. Wi-Fi is free throughout the villa, and there is a dedicated workspace with a desk.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children of all ages are welcome. We can provide a cot, subject to availability. There are no extra beds.

Are pets allowed?

Sorry, no. Pets cannot stay at the villa.

Can we hold a party or event?

No. Parties and events are not allowed, and we ask guests to keep music low. We also do not take hen, stag or similar groups.

Is smoking allowed?

No. The villa is non-smoking throughout.

Are there security cameras?

Yes. Exterior cameras secure the grounds; there are no cameras inside the house.

The area

What is the nearest beach?

The closest places to swim are Cala dell'Ovo, a small cove of pebbles and rock, 3.6 km away, and Guidaloca bay at 3.7 km. Guidaloca is the easier one: a pebble beach with sunbeds to hire, a bar and paid parking right next to it. The Tonnara di Scopello is nearer (3.2 km), but swimming is not allowed there. More beaches are on the location page.

Where can I buy groceries?

Scopello, 2 km away, has small shops for daily needs. For a big shop, head to the supermarkets in Castellammare del Golfo, 8 km away, such as Decò or Conad. The weekly market there is on Saturday mornings, 8 am to 1 pm.

How far is the Zingaro nature reserve?

Around 10 minutes by car. The south entrance is about 1 km beyond Scopello, which is 2 km from the villa. Entry is €5, card only, and children under 8 go free. Dogs are not allowed, not even on a lead. The coastal path runs for roughly 7 km, two hours one way. Opening times change with the season, so check riservazingaro.it before you go.

Still have a question?
