Booking terms

This page summarises the terms for booking the villa directly. Bookings through Booking.com or Airbnb follow the terms the platform shows you when you book.

From enquiry to booking
- You send an enquiry with your travel dates and the number of guests, using the enquiry form, by email or by phone.
- The landlord checks that the villa is free and sends you an offer with the price and terms, including the cancellation terms.
- Once you accept the offer, the landlord confirms your booking in writing. The booking becomes binding with this written confirmation.
Prices, payment and deposit
You will find prices and what they include on the rates page.
The landlord agrees the minimum stay, deposit and payment with you when you enquire. The minimum stay depends on the season. A security deposit is charged; the landlord states the amount in the offer.
Tourist tax
The municipality of Castellammare del Golfo charges a tourist tax (imposta di soggiorno). Under its regulation of 2022, amended in 2023, it is €1.50 per person per night, for no more than six consecutive nights. Children up to the age of 12 and guests over 75 are among those exempt.
The local tourist tax is charged on top of the rental price.
Cancellation
If you cancel at least 30 days before your arrival date, the landlord refunds 50% of the rental price for the whole stay. If you cancel later, there is no refund.
Arrival, departure and guests
Check-in is from 1 pm to 8 pm, check-out by 11 am. Please let the landlord know in advance roughly when you will arrive.
The person checking in must be at least 21.
The villa sleeps up to 6 guests. Children of all ages are welcome. A cot is available on request, subject to availability; there are no extra beds.
House rules
- Pets are not allowed.
- No parties or events, including hen and stag parties.
- Smoking is not allowed.
- Please keep music down.
Exterior cameras
Exterior cameras secure the grounds; there are no cameras inside the house. You will find more in the privacy policy.
